Important Info about Fairland's Sunday Service

The eldership at Fairland Christian Church met this week and decided to cancel services at the church building for this Sunday, March 22, due to concerns associated with COVID-19. We have canceled services for this week and will be making decisions about upcoming Sunday Services on a week-by-week basis.

However, just because we will not be having services at the church building this Sunday, that does not mean that we will not be ministering to those within our church family and community. Please note the following ministry opportunities available to you and your family:

Don Fleischman will be sharing a message with you from God's Word on Facebook and YouTube Sunday morning at 10:30.

The Gamble family will be providing a children's lesson, including a visit from Mr. Science and his lab assistant, Mortimore, on Facebook and YouTube Sunday morning at 11:30.

The church building will be open on Sunday morning from 9:00am until noon for anyone who would like to take communion. Communion will be set up and ready. You may come any time between 9:00 and 12:00. Communion will also be available at 6:00pm on Sunday at the church building during small group, which will still be meeting as scheduled. Those desiring to take communion but who are unable to get to the church building or who do not feel comfortable leaving their home should contact the church at 269-683-8211 or through the church Facebook page to make arrangements for someone to bring communion to their home. Please note, if you are sick or showing signs of becoming sick, please refrain from calling to request communion to be brought to you so that we can help prevent the spread of sickness to those within our church family.

Please remember that, even though we are not meeting together in corporate worship, we are still called to be good stewards of the financial resources that God has blessed us with. Therefore, if you will be coming to the church building on Sunday morning to take communion, you may bring your offering with you. There will be offering plates available for you when you arrive. Or, if you request communion to be brought to your home, you may give it to the member of our leadership who visits you. Or, feel free to mail your offering via USPS. Also, if you are not doing so already, consider setting up automatic transfer from your financial institution directly to Fairland Christian Church. If you have questions about this, contact Tom about online options available to put this in place.

Lastly, small groups will continue to meet as scheduled throughout the week - Sunday night at 6:00 at the church, Wednesday morning at 9:30 at the church, and Wednesday at 6:30pm at the same location as usual.

Thanks for reading all of the above. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Don or Tom.

Thank you!
